The trip itself was great, but the waitresses were intrusive over time. Relaxation on the voyage was therefore not possible on deck or in the bar / lounge. Otherwise, a good travel option with a sightseeing program for the distance luxor Aswan

yellow cabin, quiet boat, great food

March 12, 2020

We were looking for something basic to travel between Luxor and Aswan and by visiting the sites of Edfu and Kom Ombo. The M / S Opera boat was very good and the staff friendly. As with all cruises on the Nile 2 faults: - visits to sites with no load - fairly average, European food with re-use of dishes not consumed the day before to make entrees the next day ... Big problem: the description mentioned a French speaking guide. However, we were offered an English-speaking guide. We had to insist and call the Egyptian travel agency which found a French speaking guide who did not speak French very well and did not explain much to us. He was content to show bas relief by naming the characters and hieroglyphs ... Not really what I call a guided tour.
