Very Good! The Egyptian Partner company was Ocean Air Travels Egypt. -clear, timely communication -they use nice cars for transport -drivers nice and timely -cruise/tour program was great -guide...we were lucky to get a personality we liked. I observed many others and have had others but for this duration we were very pleased to get one matching our chemistry. -cruise was great; food, service, cabin -cruise food: menus predominantly western style was very good however need a greater percent of Egyptian/ Middle Eastern selections on a daily basis. Demand is evident on the 'Oriental Dinner Night" where everyone is extremely excited about the menu. If say, 30% of the menu items were Egyptian it would benefit guest experience AND lower food cost for the operator. -I am a consultant for Asia-Pacific hospitality based in Tokyo
Great experiece. Entertaining woman guide, very nice drivers, which do not lose their or out time, drived well and fast. I do appreciate the presence of personal security guy, which helped group to feel safe and secure from local bussines men, which were realy rude and annoying. Well organizated, I payed full price for trip and entries, I had to pay only the toilet fees, which noboby can be protected from... anywhere. My kids were treated kindly and friendly. Thanx so much. Can be only recomended. Elizabeth
Guide was very helpful getting us around and explaining everything to us. The only thing I didn’t like was the visit to the alabaster and papyrus “factory.” They show you how the stuff is made into statues and paper but it’s totally a sales gimmick to get you in the store to buy things. All the items are like $100 US dollars. You can find the cheap stuff on the street for $5 US dollars. If you’re into that kinda stuff fine, otherwise skip the factory parts when you link up with the guide.
Amazing experience from the beginning to the end. Amazing boat with good food, great staff, nice sundeck and spacious room with a great view. The experience was greatly enhanced by our amazing guide Ahmed. His english was very good, making it very easy to understand and enjoy the temples, tombs and their stories. He even bought us breakfast when we accidentally woke up late and missed breakfast. We highly recommend him if anyone is looking for a guide.
My guide, Nagah had a great sense of humor and was an expert Egyptologist. She answered all my questions and throughly explained the the many locations we visited on the jam-packed Luxor: Full-Day Tour of the East and West Banks. I highly recommend this tour especially if you have limited time in Luxor.
