Take a journey from Luxor to Aswan aboard a luxury 5-star boat that includes all meals and guided visits to some of Egypt’s most iconic and well-preserved temples along the Nile River.  Day 1 Start the first day of your multi-day cruise with a hotel pick up from your Luxor accommodation around 7:00 AM. Before boarding your boat, you will go on a guided tour to the iconic Valley of the Kings in Luxor.   Visit and go inside the 3 most important tombs of the ancient kings, seeing the many inscriptions and hieroglyphics that decorate them. Next, be led to the Hatshepsut Temple, which is a beautiful funerary temple of the important queen of Egypt, whose political power changed the state of Egypt at that time. Follow your guide as you continue onwards to explore the city of Habu to witness the Temple of Ramses III, one of the greatest temples of the Twentieth Dynasty. Snap pictures of the impressive Memnon statues and end up at the Karnak Temple, which is the most important and largest in the city of Luxor. After your history-filled tour, you will be taken to board your cruise at around 1:00 PM, in perfect time to enjoy the first meal of your river journey. Once you have settled in, make sure to go up to the roof of the boat to enjoy the enchanting scenery. Watch as the small boats, Egyptian villages, and natural landscapes sail by.  Day 2 After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride to visit Temples of Edfu Horus. Marvel at these well-preserved religious palaces and the imposing sandstone structures of Horus. Return to the boat for lunch, before heading out once again to see the Kom Ombo Temple. Learn about the structures of the temple and why it was built in honor of two great Nile divinities. Day 3 After an early morning check-out from the boat, take your luggage and grab a quick breakfast and before being picked up to visit the Abu Simbel temple. On this small-group tour you will also discover the temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari. These twin temples were built from the mountainside in the 13th century BC under the dynasty of Pharaoh Ramesses II.  Finish the tour around 1.30 PM and then be taken to your accommodation in Aswan or to the city’s train station or airport.

Enjoy a 50-minute hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings, the world’s most important archaeological site, lit up by the changing colors of the sunrise. Watch as the balloon begins to stand up and board with the assistance of the ground crew. After a gentle takeoff, you’ll become one with the wind and lose the sensation of motion. Get lost in the tranquility of ballooning, disturbed only by the noise of the burners.   Take in breathtaking views of Luxor and all its ancient temples and tombs. See the lives of farmers and other locals as you glide over fields where people irrigate their land, gather crops, and care for their animals. To ensure all passengers have an equal opportunity to see and snap some amazing photos, the pilot will be sure to rotate the balloon during the flight. Finally, your guide will teach you the proper landing position and land expertly in an empty field or desert.

Meet your Egyptologist tour guide and start your journey in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Relax in comfort as you travel to explore the most important historical monuments in Luxor. Choose between a tour of both the East and West banks, or visit only one side of the Nile according to your preferences. On the West bank, discover the Valley of Kings where you will visit the remarkable tombs and last resting place of the Kings Ramsses III, Ramsses VI, and Mrenptah. If you've booked an entrance to the tomb of Tutankhamun (available as an add-on), you'll then see the most iconic Egyptian tomb known world-wide. Then, proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to a female ruler who reigned over Egypt for 20 years, bringing the country wealth and peace. See the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III at the Colossi of Memnon, then stop for lunch at a local restaurant. On the East bank, witness the Complex of Karnak, which might be the largest temple in the world. You have one more stop before you leave the place: the magnificent Luxor Temple, a large ancient Egyptian temple which you will have time to explore.

• Day One Following prompt pickup from your hotel in Luxor, head off with a licensed tour guide for a two-day trip to Kom Ombo, Edfu, Aswan, and Abu Simbel. Enjoy the drive towards the historic Temple of Horus in Edfu, listening to Egyptian history and ancient mythology on the way. Upon arrival at the Temple of Horus, explore the sandstone structures which depict Horus, also known as the God of Protection.  Next, head towards the Temple of Kom Ombo, built in honor of the deities at the eastern part of the River Nile. Learn about the structure of this temple and how it was built in tribute to Horus and Sobek, two of the great deities of their time. After sightseeing, you will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan and then enjoy a splendid shopping experience, after which you will be dropped off at your hotel in Aswan (booked by you, not by the tour operator) for an overnight stay. • Day Two Get picked up from your hotel in Aswan and journey through the Temple Complex of Abu Simbel. Admire the massive rock temples upon arrival. After the temple visit, proceed to Aswan to enjoy a delectable lunch. Once you have had your lunch, move on to visit the Aswan High Dam. Later, head towards the Philae Temple, located near the Aswan Low Dam. You will be dropped off at your hotel/railway station/airport in Aswan at the conclusion of your two-day tour. Alternatively, opt for a transfer back to Luxor.

Day 1: Start your adventure with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. After a short meet and greet with your driver, climb into your booked mode of transport (depending on option selected). Day 2: When you arrive in Luxor, start your tour by meeting your friendly and professional licensed tour guide. Get out at the West Bank and discover the valley of kings on the west bank of Luxor. Discover the remarkable tombs and see the last resting place of the kings Ramssess III, Ramssess VI, Mrenptah & Tut-Ankh-Amon (tombs are open and closed based on the restoration schedule, however the best 3 open tombs will be included & Tut's will be included based on your option selection). Continue on to see the Queen Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to the only female ruler who ruled Egypt for 20-years with wealth and peace. See the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III at the Colossi of Memnon before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense). Travel to the East Bank to admire the Complex of Karnak which is considered to be one of the largest temples in the world. Make a final stop before you leave this magical place at the magnificent Luxor Temple, a large ancient Egyptian temple.

After pickup from your hotel or the bus or train station on day 1, drive in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to the prodigious East Bank of Luxor with an Egyptologist tour guide. Upon arrival, witness the sprawling Karnak Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the vestiges of ancient temples, pylons, chapels and other historic buildings, as well as the Karnak Open Air Museum. Next, continue to the magnificent Luxor Temple, an ancient sandstone temple complex built by great kings such as Amenhotep III, Alexander the Great, Tutankhamun and Ramesses II. You'll then be dropped off back at your hotel or selected location around 2 PM. In the evening, rejoin your guide with hotel pickup at around 6 PM for the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, if you select this optional tour. Find out about the eventful history of ancient Thebes, the glory of Egyptian civilization, and the legacy of the pharaohs with the show's narration. Enjoy a supernatural experience of poetic voices, haunting music, and light and sound effects before being dropped back to your hotel or selected location. Day 2 begins with pickup again, after which you'll make your way to either the hot air balloon port or the West Bank of Luxor, depending on the tour option selected. If you opt for the balloon ride, cross to the west bank of the River Nile to watch the sunrise. Listen to the pilot and ground crew's safety briefing and instructions, then hop into the basket of the balloon. As the balloon gently rises in the sky, relish the breathtaking view of Luxor and catch the glory of the morning sun. Next, head to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, or go there directly if you don't take the hot air balloon option. Glance around the complex and see the tombs and resting places of remarkable Egyptian kings such as Merneptah, Ramesses III, and Ramesses VI. You can also visit the entrance to the famed Tutankhamun’s Tomb if you purchase the add-on. From here, move on to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the fifth pharaoh and the only female ruler of Egypt who reigned for 20 peaceful years. Finally, discover the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III at the Colossi of Memnon before breaking for lunch at a local restaurant. Thereafter, you will be dropped back to your hotel or selected location.

The experience begins with pickup from your Luxor hotel at around 6:00 PM and transfer down to the River Nile. Hop onboard your boat for an evening on one of the most famous rivers in the world. After convenient, pre-dawn pickup from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship, cross the River Nile to the West Bank – where your hot air balloon awaits. After a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you will climb into the balloon's basket and get ready for lift off.  Then it’s time for takeoff. Away from the daytime crowds, you will drift peacefully over the west Bank of Luxor and sights such as the monuments of Thebes. As the early morning sun rises over the East Bank, the city and the surrounding mountains will be illuminated in stunning golden hues.
