You'll be collected from your Kathmandu accommodation between 6:00AM-7:00AM in the morning, following which you will travel for 30 minutes to the Tribhuwan International Airport's domestic section. Following about 30-40 minutes of preparation time, the helicopter will take off and begin its 45-minute flight over beautiful hills and valleys to the famous Lukla Airport (i.e. Tenzing Hillary Airport), which sits at an elevation of 2,860 meters. There will be a short duration landing of 10-15 minutes for refueling at the Lukla Airport, following which the helicopter will take a 25-minute flight over the Everest region. You'll fly over the colorful settlements of Namche Bazar, Pheriche, the Tengboche Monastery, and Gorakshep, making your way up to the famous landing spot of Kalapatthar, which is 200 meters above the Everest Base Camp and sits at an elevation of 5,545 meters. Whilst there you will have roughly 10 minutes to look around, take photographs, and absorb the magnificent sights of these beautiful snow-capped mountains from a close distance. Following that, your helicopter will take off and fly for 12 minutes from Kalapatthar to the famous Hotel Everest View, at an elevation of 3,880 meters. To compliment your experience, this location provides an open terrace setup for breakfast with great food and hospitality, allowing you to enjoy a lovely breakfast on the lap of the Himalayas. After this refreshing break of roughly 45 minutes, the helicopter will take another 80-minute flight from HEV, Syangboche, to Lukla Airport and to its final stop at Kathmandu Airport. There your representatives will be waiting for you to take you to your respective hotel.
