Meet your guide at the Holstentor then head out onto the streets of Lübeck for your private, guided tour. Appointed as a UNESCO World Heritage Listed Site, the city is renowned for its Gothic brick architecture and centuries-old buildings. With your local guide, discover the wonders of Lübeck as you wander through the city’s quaint streets, admiring magnificent church buildings, playfully decorated townhouses, and more. During the tour, learn about Lübeck’s original street system, the artificial expansion of the construction areas in the Middle Ages, sagging houses, modern gable alterations, and Lübeck’s world-famous churches. One of the many highlights of the tour includes a stroll through the town market place, where you can marvel at the town hall and the famous Ratskirche St. Marienchurch. Then, pass through the Baroque Buddenbrockhaus until you reach the Glockengießerstraße, where you can see several passages and courtyards and learn about their history and construction.
