The area consists of kilometers of rocky coasts with caves, beaches, hiking paths and breathtaking views. You’ll first reach Manarola, a tiny urban jewel characterized by Genoese style "case-torri" or tower houses. Then you will move to Vernazza, a village overlooked by the remains of a medieval castle with a cylindrical tower, in which you can enjoy some free time. Afterwards you will reach Monterosso, known as the "pearl of Cinque Terre". This ancient fishing village with lovely beaches and lush vegetation covering the rocks will certainly enchant you. The incredible places !!!

    October 30, 2019

All towns in Cinque Terra were overflowing with tourists, mainly perhaps from the huge cruise ship in La Spezia. Had I known about the hordes of people I would not have gone. Too many people don’t go there, its awful!

Not as advertised and not worth the money.

We paid for an 11-hour tour, including a lunch (with a vegetarian option), shuttle bus, and ferry ride. We got a ten-hour tour with no shuttle bus or ferry. Our guide claimed to know nothing about the lunch. Fortunately, he was able to call the agency and confirm that, yes, lunch was included. The lunch was not worth the extra money, and no other option, besides a small piece of fish, was given, which put those who didn't like fish in a position where they just didn't eat. We spent less than an hour at each location because we had to meet back at the train station in an hour's time. So that really gave us only about 40 minutes. Our guide's driving was reckless and horrendous, especially through the mountains--made many of us very nauseous. All-in-all, it just seemed like our guide wanted to get home as quickly as possible. We all felt like we weren't able to enjoy the places we were visiting. I could have done a better tour on my own for much cheaper.
