Silvia was an absolutely fabulous hostess! She made us some of her favorite recipes on our American Thanksgiving holiday and it was so lovely to enjoy that holiday in someone’s home/in a family environment. We are so excited to make the dishes that she made for us for our family now that we’re back in the United States. It was also wonderful to get to know someone who has lived in Luca, her entire life and she recommended a nearby truffle festival for the following weekend. We’re really hoping to stay in touch with her because it was just a fantastic experience.

Had no idea Lucca had so much history going on. Had to keep moving as it was pretty cold. Kind of awkward as the guide had to keep switching to English (for me, and much appreciated!). Very knowledgeable.

Chiara was friendly, knowledgeable and took her time to make sure we had a great experience. The Lucca walking tour is informative, educational & a worthy investment.

Paula was an excellent guide! Her stories and descriptions were informative and interesting. She really made the city of Lucca come alive for us.

Our tour guide Marta was fabulous!! We loved our walking, food and history tour!! Highly recommend!!
