Palma de Mallorca: Guided Bicycle Tour with Tapas & a Drink

4. Palma de Mallorca: Guided Bicycle Tour with Tapas & a Drink

Our tour starts at one of our 2 starting points (or at any preferred location if its a privately booked tour) where you will be introduced to your tour guide, asked to sign a disclaimer and consent to our bike tour policy. Shortly after you will be handed a comfortable high quality city bike, a helmet (obligatory until 16 years of age) and a basket if you wish. Water can be purchased at our shop. Our tour guide will give you a briefing on the general facts and what to expect of the tour, the timing, procedures and local rules regarding biking in Palma de Mallorca and a demonstration of how the bikes work. We will help you to adjust the bike seat to your height in order to get the most comfortable experience out of your tour. After this we are ready to set off! Our TOUR WITH TAPAS takes you along the bike lane on the seafront avenue in the direction of the main Cathedral “La Seu”. Along our route we do short stops on many places and tell you interesting facts about the things you are looking at. After a few stops around Parc de la Mar we will seek our way into the old town of Palma de Mallorca where open and sunny esplanades are swopt for beautiful ancient narrow streets and alleys. Old churches and plazas are very abundant in the old town and you will see and learn about several of them. Our tour also includes a little stop at a (still working) convent for nuns that dates back to the 13th and that offers the possibility to purchase a little something edible for the ones who’ve got a sweet tooth. From here we continue to discover the old mainly medieval part of Palma passing by the most popular visitor’s sites in the city and also discovering the wide selection of museums, art galleries and other sites of interest for the curious visitors. Now it’s time for one of the true highlights of our tour; the tapas stop. We include one drink and 3 tapas per person and you can choose from a wide range of typical Spanish “montaditos” tapas. After the stop it’s time to start rounding up our tour by visiting the last important sites located in the neighbourhood of La Lonja and/or Santa Catalina/Es Jonquet.

Riccardo was an attentive host who shared a lot of knowledge and gave us some practical cooking tips. The evening was very entertaining and we laughed a lot. The recipes were printed out as flyers to cook afterwards. The dishes were not complicated and are excellent for your own kitchen. Overall an experience and highly recommended!

We had a wonderful cooking experience! Everything was organized but also felt comfortable. Five dishes came out amazing, including our main dish, Paella. Would highly recommend skipping a restaurant and cooking as an option for dinner one night.

Super great experience!! I recommend it to everyone and anyone. Amazing cooking tips as well as some of the best food I’ve ever had in Europe! Top quality ingredients and instruction.

Incredibly tasty. Great cooking class with Luis, we had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Spanish cuisine.

Very friendly group. Everyone had fun just interacting and learning.
