Booked tickets, but better if you also book a set time slot. We had to wait an added 30 minutes to enter due to capacity rulings. Very good museum but we were expecting to see more old busses. Cafe quite pricey too, so we cannot comment on the service there. Shop well stocked with some very good items and prices not too bad.

I got a good idea of the history of London's transportation system, and the exhibits of successive London buses were also good. In the compact exhibition room, you can see the diorama from the child's point of view. The children who were visiting the museum also seemed to have fun. I was surprised that the route map of Tokyo Metro in Japan was on display as soon as I entered.

It is a kid friendly and kid dominant museum. Whether on weekdays or weekends (esp weekends), the place is jam packed with families and children. So if you are looking forward to a nice and quiet stroll of the museum, pick a good day where the queue isn’t strung with loads of families. Unless you enjoy the sound of crying children running around, then by all means, any day is fine.
