Full description
The first stop on this tour is Windsor Castle. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and turreted Round Tower, it is easy to see why the castle is the Queen’s favorite weekend residence. Enjoy a fascinating through-the-keyhole peek at the lavish State Apartments, home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci. You can also visit Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and St George’s Chapel - the final resting place of the monarchs of old, including Henry VIII. The tour then moves onto spectacular Stonehenge. You will never forget your first glimpse of the monolithic rock formation rising up against the skyline of the Salisbury Plain. Theories abound as to Stonehenge’s mysterious origin? Was it intended as a religious temple? An astronomical clock? A Bronze Age burial ground? Make up your own mind as you explore this unique landmark. Your final stop of the day is the charming university town of Oxford. Here you will enjoy a walking tour with free leisure time. Stroll the captivating college courtyards and cobbled lanes of this historic university town. The tour will finish at approximately 07:15 PM in London.

This is a must day trip every London visitor should have. It started right in time and came back at the right time. The guide (Keisha) was awesome and the Driver (Ashley I think) was perfect. Very nice narration on and off the road. Very caring guide. Windsor was marvelous but a bit short - extra 30 minutes there would have been nice and rather cutting short 30 minutes in Stonehenge will make a lot of difference.

My Guide, Norman, was so kind and knew so much about the history of the places we visited. 10 points! Gorgeous places, I feel like I could you use a few more minutes Oxford, but considering the amount of places we visit in just one day, I get it. It’s a very good tour in general. I recommend!

The trip we originally booked was cancelled but we have been very happy with the alternative which was offered to us. The organization was perfect and our guide and the bus driver both were competent and nice. We went to see Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath and found all the tree places ( for different reasons) very worth to have been seeing them. So, thx a lot once again to Bruce and the golden tour team and All the best Iris
