The first stop on this 6-hour tour is Pura Lingsar, the largest and most important temple in Lombok. The Hindu temple features shrines associated with the holy mountains of Gunung Agung on Bali and Gunung Rinjani on Lombok. This holy site embodies both the cultural connection between Bali and Lombok and also the multi-faith nature of Lombok. Next is a visit to the Pusuk Monkey Forest in Rinjani. Feed the wild monkeys living in the Puncak/Daun Pusuk rainforest, situated 900 meters above sea level. At Malimbu Hill enjoy sunset views of the popular Gili Islands. Mega nice people, short tour

The driver as well as the guide in the temple were mega net they explained a lot about The Temple ... Unfortunately we were only given an English driver instead of a German-speaking one ... but which didn't make things worse ... with us a lot of small talk ... unfortunately we had the tour quickly which is why we were back in the homestay after 3-4 hours ... some stations went quite quickly ... unfortunately we were at Senggigi Beach the day before ... that's why we had it we missed it ... the driver was extremely responsive to our needs and would have waited for hours at each station ... Due to our speed, there was of course no sunset at noon ... very unfortunate .. the driver gave us but still many tips for other destinations .. he must have thought that we didn't like it .. that wasn't so ... it was a great tour ... it shouldn't have started at 8:20. He offered us stations for the next day in the evening

Worst value for money

We visited our first temple. Upon arriving we were charged 10000r for entry for myself and partner (we thought all entry fees were included on n the price). We were given a guide and proceeded to be shown through the temple that was dilapidated, with unloved scenery, stagnant water and floating, dead fish. We were then asked to provide a tip for the “priest” and a tip for the guide. When we offered money, we were told this was not enough and were requested to give more. When then left to view local pottery making. Without any explanation, we were followed through aisles of pots to make a purchase. Then we were ushered outside to see how the local clay is made. At this point we were ushered to sit down on a chair and my parter and I were encouraged to make a clay item with the assistance of a local. Upon completion, we were requested to provide a tip. After spending close to 30000r on “tips” and “fees” we requested our driver take us back to the hotel as this tour was a massive scam.

The German-speaking guide had taught himself German (3 sentences). But was not bad because of his passable English. Only the subsequent sales tours were annoying.
