Arriving in Porto earlier in the afternoon, we thought that the tour would be a good way to explore some of the city as well as to sample the local food and drink. We were not disappointed. Our guide, Thiago, was charming and with only my partner and me in the 'group', we were able to ask him lots of questions covering a variety of topics (from the history of the city to the politics in Brazil, and of, course the best beer, wine and port to sample), all of which were answered informatively and with humour. By the time the tour had finished, we were both full up with some tasty food and drink so it was good to be able to walk it all off on our way back to our hotel. My main recommendation would be...don't eat anything beforehand so that you have room to enjoy the fabulous petiscos and the local bebidas!

This was a fantastic two hours tour, really informative and perfect for navigating all the steep hills which we would never have managed on foot Our guide was Dutch and spoke perfect English We certainly felt we got our money's worth It was good fun and we covered a lot of ground The meeting point was a little difficult to find because they are currently recovering from a fire and the signage was not very good Lots of stops for photos and general questions

It was a nice relaxed way to see Porto and learn about JK rowlings Harry potter inspirations. The Lello Bookstore was definately a highlight. And the host was amazing and went above and beyond to give us a wonderful experience and special tour of Porto.

So awesome! Carlos was such a friendly and fun tour guide. He knew so many historical fun facts (and HP facts!) and treated us to some tasty treats a few times on our walk. So much fun, HIGHLY recommend.

Our guide Margarida was very good with our 8 year old daughter. You can tell she loves kids and connects with them easily for the tour. We had a great morning!
