After meeting your tour guide, begin your trip to Florence in a fully equipped and comfortable bus. Step into Florence, home to several masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. Walk down its winding alleys and explore the city's iconic monuments and art galleries. Start your tour in Piazza Repubblica and follow in the footsteps of Dante Alighieri. Listen to insightful commentary as you visit the Piazza della Signoria and cross the arch bridge of Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River.

This was the 3rd time we used Get Your Guide on this trip and it did not disappoint! I only regret not getting a guide for Pompeii and only utilizing GYG for transportation. Florence and Pisa would not have been nearly as great without our superb guide!!!

Caught the shuttle bus (there is a cost which you can pay on the bus) from the cruise ship. Dropped us in Livorno where staff were waiting for us. Enjoyable and informative coach trip to Florence (If you haven't got people talking around you all the time) (You aren't allowed to move seats). A sip of wine and a morsel of food took time which would have been better spent walking around Florence. Guide was very helpful telling us a route to take through Florence. In Pisa we weren't there long enough to get tickets to visit the Cathedral (timed tickets ours were for 5.15pm but we had to meet up again at 5pm). Ticket office is on you right as you enter the Cathedral square.
