What people are saying about Liverpool

Our driver was Steve in the Lovely Rita taxi. Steve's knowledge about The Beatles was so detailed it was fascinating. We saw where they lived as children, visited Eleanor Rigby's grave and who knew that Strawberry Fields was a house let alone one that meant so much to John Lennon. We were told what was behind the songs we all know and then when Steve played them, back in the taxi, they meant so much more than they had before - very moving. All in all, a great experience - our thanks to Steve, No 1 Beatle fan! It wasn't cheap for us because the taxis are a set price so if you have a group of 6 people then that would be good value but there was only 3 of us so it worked out quite expensive but that didn't spoil our enjoyment.

Met up with several other couples at the appointed meeting place near pier head. Guide was waiting and chatting to other people on this tour who also arrived a little early. Then spent time taking photos and listening to our guide explain many things related to the water front as well as the Fab Four. We did not measure the distance we walked but it was not too strenuous for us (60 year olds), even up a set of stairs (due to a road closure) were not taxing. Stopped several times to listen to some very interesting facts about the Beatles and Liverpool. Tour ended up taking about 2 hours 20 minutes. Really enjoyed the tour.

We had Tony as our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic! He has so much knowledge about the Beatles and Liverpool in general as well. He was a delight to take the tour with and it’s the best tourist attraction related to the Beatles that we’ve ever had. Recommend to everyone.

Very informative, our guide was Jean was lovely, pleasant and bubbly. Learned lots about Liverpool’s colourful past. Would recommend this tour to anyone.
