Gustavo was our tour guide and did an amazing job! It was my first tour that I've ever done, mostly because I am always nervous about being bored on a tour or not having enough free time to explore new places. This was a very pleasant introduction into guided tours -- we hit all of the most beautiful and significant places and were given a local's account of the history and importance of these sites, which was such a blessing and interesting experience. It was overall very fun, well-timed, and Gustavo helped to make sure all members of the group were accounted for and comfortable. He helped (with kindness and permission!) guests with mobility issues throughout the tour on difficult terrain and getting in and out of the car. I learned so much about Sintra, Cascais, and about Portugal in general through Gustavo, and I would really recommend this tour as well as him!

We had a fantastic day trip to Sintra and Cascais . This was entirely due to the knowledge and expertise of Igor , our guide . Igor was friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic and spoke perfect English. His has a first class knowledge of Portugal’s history and, of course, the areas we visited. Igor thoughtfully planned our day so that we made the best of the weather and he knew when to arrive at Sintra to minimise the queuing time . We enjoyed our lunch at the farm food restaurant. There was a good choice of dishes, freshly prepared with quality ingredients. Igor allowed us plenty of time and opportunity to look around at all our stops during the day. We would highly recommend this tour, which we felt is good value for money. Thank you, Igor for making our trip so memorable.

The sightseeing was good, and our guide Igor was attentive, interesting, and knowledgeable. But it's a really long day (8.5 hrs) and with the microclimate of the Atlantic coast causing fog, cold, wind and drizzle, it made for an uncomfortable tour at times. The tour company should have noted on their website that we should prepare for possible bad weather by dressing in layers and wearing water-resistant clothing & shoes. I also think that the price of admission should be included in the tour fee to make it more inclusive. We toured the outside of the palace and also paid for the shuttle bus to/from entrance, and it added an additional 10.50e fee pp which could easily have been added to tour cost to save on time/fiddling around with entry kiosks. Also had limited food options when we didn't choose the farmhouse restaurant that our guide suggested. We were dropped off in a surfing town (Praia Grande) where restaruant options were very limited. Should've let us eat in Sintra instead.
