Embark on a full-day tour of Fatima, Obidos, Batalha, and Nazaré from Lisbon. See the shrine of Fatima, explore the seaside resort of Nazaré, and enjoy liqueur tasting in Obidos.

Benefit from pickup in Lisbon city center, and then take a scenic drive to the shrine of Fatima. Learn more about the important Catholic pilgrimage site before going to the Gothic convent at Batalha. Admire the Manueline style of architecture typical of Portugal in the 16th century, and then enjoy a delicious lunch of regional food.

Next, visit the beautiful seaside resort of Nazaré, popular with surfers and water sports fans. See the statue of the black Virgin Mary by Saint Joseph and look at the colorful fishing boats on the sandy beach from the top of the rock. Try some of the sweet cherry liqueur known as ginja in the medieval village of Obidos, and soak up the fairytale atmosphere of the cobbled paths and small medieval houses.

Very effective way of seeing those places. Just remember - it is a group of 8 people and everyone has own time to move on. Our guide said to us : It is our vacation , don't rush, take your time in reasonable way" . So our trip started at 8:30 am and we were back in Lisbon around 7:40 pm. Whole day - but a lot of fun .

This was an incredible experience! Fatima was beautiful (had time to explore the square, cathedral, and experience an outdoors service). Obidos is a gorgeous fortress with tons of shops. Batalha is a stunning Cathedral (however unfinished). Finally Nazaré has an amazing beach with stunning views. Overall the tour guide/driver did a wonderful job giving brief overview about every individual place with a lovely experience of trying Ginjinha. Since the day is so heavily packed, realistically you only receive approximately 1hr per destination. This is worthwhile doing if you have limited time to explore Portugal and want to experience more than 1 individual city. Definitely would prefer extra time at each individual place; however, time is limited!

Nuno, our driver/guide was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable about history and facts for Portugal and the areas we visited, and he made the day tour enjoyable for everyone. It was truly a loaded day with several highlights. Every site was carefully planned and coordinated, and there were even a couple of spontaneous stops, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this activity, especially if Miguel is leading the tour.
