Full description
See the hidden treasures near Setúbal and Palmela on this minivan tour through the south of Portugal. Ride through cork oaks and pines to the natural preserve along the river Sado, where you can admire a tide mill. It's powered by the ebb and flow of the river. Keep an eye out for storks, flamingoes, and wild ducks. Enjoy lunch in one of the many restaruants in Setúbal or Sesimbra. Try the fantastic fish specialtieis, taken directly from the waters of Setúbal. Don't miss out on the Livramento market, which will enchant you with its tiled scenes of fishing voyages and a large selection of food, from fish to fruit. Pass through Arrábida National Park and admire its 500-meter-tall mountains. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean and the calming stillness. Then, visit Sesimbra, a fishin village on the Atlantic. Take a walk along the beach and proceed to Cabo Espichel, a cap on Portugal's Atlantic Coast and the southernmost point of the mouth of the Tejo. Finally, go nearby Azeitão and enjoy traditional delicacies such as wines, liquors, cheeses, and chouriço.

It was really a good outing

Can only recommend this trip, lots of beautiful impressions, the landscape is wonderful, program was varied nicely (landscape, culture, naturally the impressive outlet). The guide was very friendly and helpful and we were impressed with how knowledgeable he was.
