So glad we chose a Fado experience that did not include dinner or drinks so there were no distractions or interruptions. The musicians and singers were very talented, and we enjoyed the performance immensely. One minor thing was that it would have been helpful to know what each song was about to give more context to those of us who did not understand Portuguese.

In general, show was decent. For great fado lovers not so authentic. The experience would be much better if fado sung without microphone, and if the light was more natural. The quality of singers is average, but they are compatible and they give nice impression, particularly when they sing together. Anyway, I recommend it.

Enjoyed the experience as a solo traveller on a budget. I can imagine why it’d be great in a better setting but it does the job. They were all very talented but I have to say the fella on the Portuguese guitar smashed it. I got angry when the male singer came on and took his instrument haha please don’t do that.
