The music was incredible and Leonardo did a nice job of finding the translations for us. Going Sunday when the 3rd singer is there is a great idea! The slightly sparkling green wine was really nice too. The snacks weren't the best that I had in the country, but they were decent and the owner brought something different for vegetarians in our group. The owner is a really nice guy too - I'd go back!
The Fado in Chiado show was held in a small theatre at the top of an unusual building. There were two singers (one female one male) and two guitarists. They encouraged us to join in and both had wonderful voices. We also saw Fado while having a meal in another restaurant the following evening which may be a more relaxed way to see Fado but you don't hear as many songs.
We did this tour on our first night in Lisbon with our family- all adults. Our guides Claudia and Ze were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and fun. It was also fun to be part of a group and experience Fado and dinner. The food was tasty and the restaurant was very accommodating.
We enjoyed the show. There were two guitarists and two vocalists, who were all excellent. Not too many of us in the audience this day, so their valiant attempts to get us to sing along a little did not raise the roof! The performers were spirited and delightful.
Leonardo was outstanding. He was friendly upbeat and very caring that the passengers were happy and doing well. In addition he was always courteous to pedestrians and other drivers. He handled all aspects of his difficult job well! The Fado show was excellent.
