The tour providers have a proven safety record from day one, a credit to company procedures. Each season starts with brand new equipment and well-maintained throughout the year. All pilots are internationally recognized Tandem Flight Instructors. Each passenger is briefed and issued with a helmet. All pilots carry complete reserve and communication systems and weather conditions are carefully assessed before you are taken up and again on take off. You will be assisted by the crew on both take off and landing. Get ready to fulfill man's oldest dream of free flying. Now, you can experience the joy of personal, foot-launched flight in its purest form - on a paraglider. You do not need to have any experience at all to come tandem paragliding. Thousands of tandem paragliding flights have been done with children as young as 10-years-old and adults as old as 87-years-old. After a short briefing, you will merely run a few steps and the rest will be in the hands of your fully qualified pilot. Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunset Hike

3. Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunset Hike

This is a wonderful hike for families, as well as for couples, as the sunset is incredibly romantic from the top of Lions Head. View the Cape from 670 meters with panoramic views of the city, Table Mountain, Robben Island, and the beaches below including Camps Bay and Sea Point.  There are two paths that can be taken to the summit: the adventurous path using the staples and chains, or the easier route that avoids them. This hike is very popular all year round especially when the moon is full. Hike down almost with no extra torchlight, the moon can be so bright. If the moon isn't full when you tour, grab a head torch and wind breaker and head off. You are able to do a sunrise hike to the top, a day hike or even a sunset hike, according to your preference.

The weather really showed us who’s boss. You must really be patient and be greatful if you want to paraglide, the weather can change in less than 5 minutes, its better to not have any set commitments for the day and just wait for theee perfect weather. We did it 3 days later than we had booked and on the day we were supposed to leave capetown the weather was favourable, we rushed there and the wind was now not enough, we waited and an hour later we paraglided and it was amazing, and we missed our flight but it was worth it. Mike communicated throughout and that made everything easy

Great hike. Beautiful views, great guide. Lovely person, tells you about the surroundings and very easy to have a good chat with during the hike about all kinds of things. Would even recommend booking her just for the company!

I had booked a German-speaking guide ... unfortunately he wasn't there. But otherwise everything worked out great. And the return transport with that was also problem-free.

Very friendly people. We were very flexible about the times. They kept me informed about the weather every day.

Where informed guide telling us a lot about nature.
