COVID-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Begin your group tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam with a prompt hotel pick-up from your Las Vegas area hotel around 5:30 AM. Start your journey with a complimentary pick up in your hotel (from Strip Hotels only). Head out of Las Vegas well before the big bus tours are finished loading, ensuring more time in the park and space at the viewpoints before the largest bus groups arrive. Less than an hour from the Strip, stop for pictures at the famed Hoover Dam, a 756 foot tall and 650-foot thick block of concrete built-in 1936 to provide electricity for the growing urban centers nearby. Continue on your way towards Grand Canyon National Park, stopping briefly in Kingman, Arizona for a coffee and restroom break. Before arriving at the park, stop for lunch along historic route 66 at Seligman, Arizona. Time for pick up lunch at subway (included) and for stretch your legs and step your feet along the pavement of America's best known western Highway before heading back to the van to continue towards the highlight of the day, your stop at Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim. Arriving at the park at approximately 12 PM, have options on how you wish to spend your time. You can take the free shuttle that will take you to the Hermit Road (excluding winter season) and sightsee several viewpoints or spend your time hiking the Rim trail with the most famous views of the West and accessing the visitor's centers, Yavapai Museum of Geology, Hopi House and even more. Your driver/guide will help you decide what option is best for you. Enjoy around 4 hours of your own time within the park. Once you've gorged upon unreal vistas and nowhere-else-on-earth photo opportunities, head back to meet your driver for your relaxing drive back to Las Vegas, stopping for bathrooms and a dinner stop along the way. Depending on local traffic conditions, expect to return to your hotel by approximately 8:30 PM. Please note: Due to ongoing COVID-19 virus preventative measures, the Hoover Dam is currently closed until further notice

The reason why I chose good, was you need to stop advertising Hoover Dam because we didn't get to go. Many of us were excited to see it and explore but we weren't told until the night before that due to Covid, we could not. Very disappointing. Our driver/tour guide was Ita/Eta(spelling?). He was very nice and helpful with lots of information. He was also the worlds fastest driver, LOL, but safe.

They make it easy and pick you up at your hotel. Our guide Anthony was the best! He didn't overwhelm us with too many facts and let us enjoy our trip with our own self exploration. He was always ready to answer any questions we had. My day was so full and rich, that I literally forgot it was my birthday. It was the best!

I got a call the night before confirming pick up. The driver called mins before pick up. The drive was comfortable, frequent stops with plenty of snacks and water. Lunch was good. The Canyon was amazing. The best thing was the driver. He was informed, polite and very hospitable. He was very positive and made the 14 hour event great.
