Full description
Your tour will begin with the historic Armagosa Opera House. This is the location where New York City ballerina Marta Beckett danced every night for an audience she painted on the walls. You can then take in amazing views and saline shorelines from Zabriskie Point. Following that, experience the lowest elevation in North America, Badwater Basin, which sits at 282 feet below sea level. It will be all the way down there that the Furnace Creek Visitors Center (and gift shop) awaits you. At the Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes you will see where scenes from many movies were filmed, including the famous Stars Wars movies. Moving on, you will discover just what makes the Ubehebe Crater so amazing, which is the largest crater in a massive crater field. The exploration of a ghost town is also on the schedule, which is called Rhyolite. You will later head back to Las Vegas, but not before everyone enjoys a stop to purchase gourmet jerky, nuts, and candy, at one of the largest nut and candy outlets in the region.
