Your tour of the Hoover Dam offers the best views from both the Arizona and Nevada side of the Colorado River. As part of the tour you will have photo opportunities of The Mike O'Callaghan/Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, also known as the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge. Travel in a 9 or 13-seat vehicle on this small group tour and enjoy a more personalized experience.
The Hoover Dam is a national historic landmark and your guided tour includes a live presentation and film that outlines the history of the construction of the dam.
You will also visit the exhibit gallery in the visitors center and enjoy a tour of the observation room in the power plant, where you can view the massive generators that create electricity from the waters pouring over the dam. Have your camera ready to capture pictures of Lake Mead on one side and the tremendous drop to the Colorado River on the other.
