I decided to surprise my kids with an impromptu trip to Vegas. As part of the surprise I wanted to show them an “experience” so I booked a tour for the Red Rock Canyon and Seven Magic Mountains. From the moment I purchased my package constant updates and notifications in preparation for our trip were sent. Now, let me talk about Denny! I’ll start by saying that now I understand why his name was featured in so many reviews! 1. He was on time/ sharp 2. Super friendly approach and his energy is so light and genuine that being in a car with him for the next 5 hours was crucial for someone like me who’s so sensitive and perceptive to it. 3. One of the saddest things that could happen to anyone is having someone capture a once in a lifetime moment and get a terrible picture .... Well, that will not be a problem for you AT ALL! In fact, he was surprisingly good , he tried several angles and never showed a sign of annoyance (keep in mind he did it for each participant of the tour)
Bus was very comfortable and not too crowded, about half full. Drive through Zion was beautiful, you go through twice, once on the way to Bryce and also on the way back. Eating lunch overlooking Bryce was nice. Lunch is not good, so many want to bring your own. Lunch is a soggy turkey sandwich, bag of goldfish, and an orange. Bryce is amazing and beautiful. About 10 hrs into the trip they had to exchange drivers. Our trip took 14 hrs (6:00 am -8:00 pm)
The reason why I chose good, was you need to stop advertising Hoover Dam because we didn't get to go. Many of us were excited to see it and explore but we weren't told until the night before that due to Covid, we could not. Very disappointing. Our driver/tour guide was Ita/Eta(spelling?). He was very nice and helpful with lots of information. He was also the worlds fastest driver, LOL, but safe.
The best part was the kindness and thoughtfulness of our guide SARAH. She showed the best spots for photos and stop for us to rest a bit. The views are amazing, so colorful.and unique waves on the rocks. Our group did the medium difficulty hike. Well worth hike. Thank you for being a very good tour guide. We need more people like you to make our vacation memorable.
There was a little misconception as to what the day would be like. The only hiking is done at Bryce Canyon. The tour through Zion is all via the van. We did take numerous breaks from being in the van since majority of the time is spent driving. Overall it was good, and the views at both Zion & Bryce were absolutely beautiful!
