Overall good experience. The guides were very friendly and helpful. The trip was a little short. Partially due to the ghost town being closed due to previous flooding. We were told another activity would be done as a replacement (wine tasting), but it didn't happen. Would have preferred another stop in the park anyway.

For me, it was the best part of the whole Las Vegas trip. Rich our guide was so knowledgeable and the kids (2 5th grade girls and a sophmore in high school) just loved him One can tell that he's worked with kids. The ride up was beautiful and there were many stops along the way -just so much to see! I liked seeing the ghost town, Rhyolyte. The girls liked playing in the sand at Mesquite Flats Sand dunes. My husband liked seeing the lowest point in North America 282 feet below sea level with the salt plains and Badwater Pool. And the boy liked lunch (of course) at the visitor Center. I liked the way we traded seats so that people in the back had an opportunity to sit near the front to get different views.

A full day with a sort of sampler of Death Valley sites. Rich was an excellent guide with enough science to explain and enough fun facts to entertain. Rich was able to keep close to the schedule without ever seeming rushed but also allow enough time for individuals special curiosities. A really great day. Well worth a visit.
