Guided Tour to La Gomera (Fred Olsen)

1. Guided Tour to La Gomera (Fred Olsen)

Your first stop after getting off the ferry Fred Olsen is Valle de Hermigua. Then you will continue to Las Rosas Restaurant in the small village of Agulo, where you will make a stop to enjoy a typical Canarian lunch and a live demonstration of the only whistled language in the world, declared Immaterial World Heritage by UNESCO: el "Silbo Gomero". After a dessert and, if you wish, a coffee, you will ascend to Garajonay National Park. You will discover Laguna Grande and its great surrounding environment. On the way to return to San Sebastián, you will also admire the famous Degollada de Peraza: a volcanic and impressive viewpoint. In San Sebastián you will have some free time to visit La Torre del Conde (The Count's Tower), La Casa de Colón (Christopher Columbus’ House), the Asunción Church, and simply stroll around the capital, before returning to Tenerife by ferry. This tour requires identity documents, otherwise, access to the ferry could be denied.

Accually the Organisation was Perfect. Very interesting excursion in three languages. It was gorgeous. The only thing - we did not visit Windmill where they do gofio as it was promised. And as for me made too little stops and had only 30 min in the capital to visit all the places connected with Columbus. We looked for it ourselves (thanks google maps) as the group went to have ice cream. But we managed to see wonderful nature of the island and had perfect lunch. For those who has problems on ships , it is better to take paper bags and sit in the front. The vases are very strong. I felt very sick.

Very nice and informative guide. We got to know the island as best we could in one day. Gomera is definitely worth a vacation of its own. Especially if you value the landscape. It is really very varied and fascinating. Good lunch break with delicious food and a demonstration of the whistling language "El Silbo". The ferry crossing was pleasant and well organized. We even saw a group of pilot whales on the way there. A recommended excursion. But you have to get up early to make the trip worthwhile.

Nice tour, very good guide, explain in very good English, organization was perfect and pick up on time. For improvement, I would like to have more time in national park to do some walking and not only a coffee break instead of 1hr in the city which was empty

I liked the tour very much, a fantastic guide and a driver of 10. It is a very interesting island and worth visiting and getting to know.

Very nice day. Don't expect to much of the food. It was nice and plain food. The guide was helpful and nice.
