What people are saying about Lapland

It was a very good evening! We were a group of 5 French and we were picked up in front of our accommodation. Our guide was Lorenzo, very friendly. He took pictures of us there with the Northern Lights in the background. We drove for 45 minutes to completely get out of town and the light pollution. The evening there started at 9 p.m. and for almost an hour and a half we had plenty of dawn! Then it calmed down and we took the opportunity to meet by the fire and eat something. We highly recommend the activity. Just plan to eat before because there what is offered is just a snack, and plan to go in February / March in cloudless weather, otherwise no chance of seeing the aurora.

Our guide was Matias, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the northern lights, explained exactly how they form, he was also super friendly and it was like hanging out with an old friend! We unfortunately didn’t manage to see the lights as it was too cloudy but we still had a great time. We had a BBQ with grilled sausages, salmon soup warmed up by the fire, hot berry juice and then some sweet snacks including marshmallows. It really was great even if we didn’t manage to see the lights, we spent about 2 or 3 hours outdoors warming by the fire, and learning about Rovaniemi. Really recommend this tour, thank you Matias!

We were brilliantly cared for from the first moment. To our surprise, the guide was a compatriot of ours, which made the experience much more enjoyable and interesting. Apart from the hired tour, Jordi showed us places and stories in Rovaniemi that only with a guide can you get to know. Although we were only two people, there was no lack of food or detail. We feel very comfortable throughout the activity, and pleasantly accompanied throughout the day. We soon hit it off Jordi and we were able to joke and chat about anything, as if we had known each other forever. Of course highly recommended and a great guide.

Our guide was Louis and he was fantastic. We had loads of fun on this tour, first we were taken to the main offices to get decked out in snow boots, overalls and helmets, we then headed out to the Forrest and got to drive the snowmobiles, the road is very fun: lots of bumps and turns and then got to drive over a frozen body of water. You also gets biscuits and warm berry juice. Louis was super knowledgeable about Rovaniemi and incredibly friendly. Really recommend!

Very nice tour. We drove about 40 km on the snowmobile and still had plenty of time for ice fishing. Lunch in the hut was also very tasty, there was hot soup with bread and then a hot chocolate with cookies. Our guide Martin was also very nice and told a lot. Hotel pick up and drop off everything went smoothly. A snowsuit, shoes, warm socks, a face cap and a helmet were provided. All things were very warm, so that we didn't get cold even at -16 ° C.
