Full description

Take part in a tour that has an exciting blend of nature and adventure on the idyllic Canary Island. Enjoy 4 different attractions as you get to know Lanzarote better.

Montañas del Fuego/Timanfaya National Park

Visit the Fire Mountains in Timanfaya National Park, part of a vast area affected by the volcanic eruptions between 1730 and 1736. Experience experiments with the existing geothermal energy and enjoy a tour through the National Park.

Learn more about the history of this natural wonder. Hear about the authentic records of a priest from Yaiza, which documented the volcanic eruptions in the 18th century, conveying an impression of how people’s lives were determined by this force of nature.

Cueva de los Verdes

Move on to visit the cave “Cueva de los Verdes”. Witness the lava tube, formed by the volcano La Corona, and one of the longest in the world. Learn about the heaving tunnels and cavities at different levels, which together reach a height of 40 meters and go far into the sea.

Jameos del Agua

See the two caves that are part of one of the longest lava tubes on earth. See how the artist Cesar Manrique creatively and tastefully designed this section of the tunnel to create a harmony between art and nature.

Pause to spend some time at the restaurant, view the concert hall, and see a small lake with a direct connection to the sea. The lake is also home to small white blind crabs, which can be seen with the naked eye and are usually found only in waters more than 2,000 meters below the sea.

Excellent day out. The bus tour of Timanfaya was superb- so glad didn't try to drive, and the coaches gets to go an additional loop which takes you through the volcanic landscape. The entire trip exceeded my expectations. Guide was very informative and have a much better understanding of the history and geology of Lanzarote now.

A complete day of experiences! A very good option to visit some of the most famous spots of the island. I highly recommended it!! The guide Cristina was amazing she has lots of knowledge that she shared with all of us and kept changing languages between English and Spanish which was very impressive! Also shout out to the amazing driver Manuel for keeping us all save through the whole journey, those narrow roads within the mountains are not easy!

The programme was very nice, it was the easiest (without prior reservation) the only way to go to Timanfaya NP. The Spanish-English guide at the same time was quite frustrating, the guide was speaking 70% in Spanish…sometimes started to speak in English and went back to Spanish in the middle of the sentence.
