Full description

Disembark from your cruise ship and join a guided tour of Lanzarote that takes you to the north of the island. See the unique volcanic tunnel and caverns of Jameos del Agua, enjoy a wine tasting in La Geria, learn about the thermal anomalies in Islote de Hilario, and much more.

Start in the Valley of a Thousand Palms, and admire the 5,000-year-old Corona Volcano. Then reach the Famara Massif at an altitude of 500 meters and look out over the islands of the Chinijo Archipelago.

Discover the underground oases of Jameos del Agua and marvel at the natural lagoon. Continue south and see the Monumento al Campesino and learn about the so-called "Fertility" monument.

Afterward, enjoy a wine tasting in La Geria and learn how wine growing developed on the volcanic soil. Then, continue to the scenic Timanfaya National Park and admire the fascinating Montañas del Fuego (Mountains of Fire).

Hear about the energy hidden under the earth's surface in El Islote de Hilario, and see some amazing experiments with geothermal energy. Finally, you have the opportunity for an optional camel ride through the park, and on your way back see the Green Lagoon and the salt marshes.

Super nice guide Vanessa. Very hard to explain everything understandable, answers all questions and likes to take photos. Tour overall very interesting, you see a lot, you might not need 1-2 stops, but it gives a nice overall picture of the island. Would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have much time in Lanzarote and wants to see a lot. Camel ride was fun, especially for kids but nothing spectacular if you don't take part.

It was a very nice and interesting tour. We had booked the day tour and were a bit surprised that the guests from the morning tour left us at noon and the guests from the afternoon tour joined us. I had imagined otherwise. In retrospect, it didn't bother us at all, there were only a lot of people on the bus and therefore on the tour. But also here I have to say that it wasn't disturbing, because you could visit each point of the tour on your own. However, the guide explained a lot and pointed out many things to the guests that you would not have seen or found otherwise.

It was a great tour. Tour guide Vanessa took great care of everyone and shared a lot of information about the island. The bus driver Jose was not to be envied on the narrow road in Timafaya National Park, but he drove very safely. We were picked up from the ship and brought back on time.
