Booking was easy & communication was very good regarding pick up time & place. Our name was on the tour list & off we went. It soon became apparent that we were on a different tour to the one we booked. This tour included ours but was going further. We couldn't enquire whilst the coach was moving & the guide was talking. At the end of the 2nd stop we managed to speak to the guide who told us that arrangements had been made to drop us off at a certain point and we would be collected & returned to our resort. We were disappointed that this was not communicated immediately and that the guide made no effort to explain at the first opportunity. We had to seek her put & ask. However, the arrangements for us were excellent.

The Cueva de los Verdes was impressive. However, we went to Jameos del Agua with high expectations due to its fame, but were a bit disappointed as we expected something more natural. Still they are beautiful. The best thing about the excursion was the guide, who told us a lot of information about everything we saw and its relationship with the work of César Manrique. The food stop is at 12:00 in the only restaurant in the area. It is a simple free buffet (although quite good) for €10/person. You can also take food to eat for free, but there is no option to find another restaurant. As we went with the short excursion (we had already seen the Timanfaya on another occasion), they picked us up halfway and left us at the door of the hotel at 2:00 p.m.

Some of the participants going around the island, the guide offered to join them for 15€ more. This tour was really great for a first day, it gave me a general idea of where on the island I wanted to go back. Big Up to our guide for his permanent good humor and to the bus driver! The transfer is very well organized
