Full description
This tour offers a unique way to visit Fuerteventura. The bus will collect you from Lanzarote and take you to Playa Blanca where a fast boat will be waiting for you for the crossing to Corralejo, Fuerteventura. On arrival in Corralejo, there is a short transfer to the start of the quad and buggy tour. The first destination is the dunes of Corralejo, providing a feeling of being in the Sahara desert. During the break, you can walk up the biggest dunes and take wonderful pictures of the natural park with Lanzarote and Lobos islands in the background. The tour continues in the direction of Tamaragua, a small village near Corralejo, a rural and volcanic area. The next destination is the Villaverde region where goats and camels roam the farms and the famous goat cheese of Fuerteventura is produced. The tour eventually arrives at Parque Holandes for a quick snack at the restaurant Don Pepe. After the break, the group travels to Corralejo for a visit before returning to Lanzarote.

We drove in a buggy for two and took turns. Everything went very well. The bus was on time at the agreed meeting point and the transfer to Fuerteventura went smoothly. At the port we were picked up by an employee who brought us to the vehicles. The instruction in the vehicles was very friendly. After the three-hour tour, which consisted of two long and one shorter stage, we arrived at the starting point again. Our guide was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we had to wait until 5:30 p.m. for the ship heading for Lanzarote, which came on time. The waiting time was good to pass on the beautiful harbor promenade (with many good bars and restaurants), so the waiting was not bad either. After returning we were brought back to the morning meeting point by a bus.

Very nice trip, which runs around 80% off road. That alone is exceptional, except in Lanzarote. I have had a great time, definitely recommended. Be aware that afterwards you have a lot of time left and the town is not worth the effort. But head towards the harbor, with the super guys of the jet ski tour. And enjoy yourself again, but now on the water. Double the fun!

We got picked up at our hotel, drove to the harbor where we sailed to Fuerteventura, got picked up on the harbor and drove to the meeting spot, where we signed the papers for the buggy ride, before being escorted down to the buggies themselves. Our guide was very funny and friendly, and it was an amazing experience. Just be prepared for a lot of dust, so remember to bring both sunglasses and a bandana (which we didn’t and ended up regretting it!). The buggy ride is a couple of hours with four stops on the way, to take pictures, go pee or just stretch your legs. On the ride itself you get to see a lot of the island and appreciate the landscape. Our buggy had a tendency to pull to the right, so be prepared for that – they might be a little bit difficult to control.
