Full description
You will go to some of Lake Tahoe's most famous locations, showcasing the best of its South and West Shores. Your journey begins at a beautiful secluded beach, known for its wildlife. Shadowed by the granddaddy of Tahoe mountains, Mt. Tallac, you will learn how the famous Snowcross forecasts the forthcoming winter conditions. The area is especially famous as a wonderful wildlife sanctuary. Home to numerous species of birds, look out too for bears, especially in October, as you listen to the peaceful birdsong. In late spring and summer, wildflowers carpet the meadows of Taylor Creek. In the foreground, Mt. Tallac keeps a watchful eye over its wildlife inhabitants. Come in October and you will see the Kokanee Salmon run, when around 80,000 salmon start their journey to spawn. Pause at some quaint, local stores to stock up on snacks and beverages, before moving on to Emerald Bay. One of the most photographed locations in North America, you will be taken to spots where the opportunities to take stunning images are endless. More beautiful waterfalls await as you explore the natural beauty of the glacier. The carved masterpiece will be seen from many different perspectives as your guide gives you tips on the best way to capture it on film. The tour offers myriad photo opportunities throughout, and as the tour guides show you how to take better photographs, they will also capture magical shots to process and deliver to you after your tour.

This trip went above and beyond my expectations! My travel guide (Curtis) was tons of fun to be around and super knowledgeable! I really lucked out with this tour! Curtis has photographed multiple celebrities. I didn't have to worry a bit about taking my own pictures. He takes gorgeous photos of you and scenery the entire way. We got to avoid crowds and had a great day with phenomenal views due to his local knowledge! This is a once in a lifetime experience!

We had a wonderful experience! Kurtis is an amazing tour guide and photographer. It’s like having a local friend who happens to be a photographer showing you around town. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Learned a lot about different spots in Tahoe. Thank you very much, Kurtis and Party On! ❤️ Coordination was good. They even provided snow boots. Thank you, Robin! This tour is highly recommended.

Jim is an experienced photographer and guide for Lake Tahoe. He picked us from our hotels in south Lake Tahoe and drove us to several his "secret" locations which we tourist usually won't go for photographing. He taught us several tips for photographing and take good pictures for each group of us at those scenery spots. We learned and enjoyed the photographic tour very much.
