This was such a lovely experience, the views from the vineyard are spectacular. It was also really good value for what we got. The only thing I would say is it’s very high up the hill and is quite a difficult walk. It was fine for me and my husband but we had some older people in our group who struggled to get up. I think you can get a taxi if need be.

We spent the day on the slow boat up to the beautiful town of Domaso, which was an amazing experience in itself. Then greeted by Silvia, the daughter of the vineyard founders, who explained fantastically, the history of the vineyard, each of the 3 wines, how they are produced and why they taste as they do. The three fanatic wines (we had to buy some )served with meats, cheese and salads at tables overlooking the lake and mountains. This, for wine lovers, is a must do on lake Como.

They gave us a lot of meat, cheese and wine for the tasting. The views are unbelievable. They wines are fantastic, and I highly recommend the tour. The fast ferries are timed perfectly to allow you a lot of time to really enjoy this tasting without having to worry about driving.
