Full description
Join a great tour for couples or the whole family. Experience the lush tropical waters of Maui, as you glide by a beautiful ocean shore marked with the unforgettable Pacific ocean breeze. The tour includes Wahikuli State Park and the Hanakaoo Beach Park also known as canoe beach. Meet your tour guide in Lahaina to learn the basics of operating your Segway. After an orientation, training session and plenty of time to practice your new skills, it's time to begin your ride. Leave Lahaina behind and cruise out onto smooth walking paths and follow the coastline north into Kaanapali. As the ocean breeze tousles your hair and the salty air fills your nose, glide through Wahikuli Wayside Park, admiring its long, golden expanse of sand. Then, follow the path that leads north, cruising past green, grassy picnic areas, palm tree groves and shady kiawe trees to the idyllic Hanakaoo Beach. Depending on the time of day, you might spy island canoe clubs embarking on their daily workouts in the sparkling waters. Venture over to the beachside Hanakaoo Cemetery to learn of its century-old history before setting out on the beautiful ride back to Lahaina.
