Full description
Ephesus Ancient City is one of the best well-kept Roman Cities in the world ; where the most of cruise guests visit; was the capital of Asia Minor; the most important commercial center of western Anatolia; one of the seven churches of Christianity in Asia Minor; the city where Saint Paul preached and was mentioned several times in New Testament. Terrace Houses also called as "the houses of rich", those houses were for the important and wealthy people of Ephesus, as only rich people could afford such houses. The best examples of mosaics, excellent frescos ( wall paintings ), one of the first examples of central heating system can be visibled in Terrace Houses.  The  Temple of Artemision is known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Antic world. The location of temple in only one place in the world where you can see 3 different religious ‘ worship places as Temple, Mosque and Church in the same angle. House of Virgin Mary.ıt  is the place where Blessed Mary may have spent her final days. It is estimated that Mary came in the area together with Saint John who spent several years in Ephesus to spread the Christianity. Here is still active for worship where was declared as a shrine for Christians.  Saint John Church (Expression from Temple of Artemis)It is believed that the Evangelist St. John had spent his last years in the region around Ephesus and buried in the southern slope of Ayosolug Hill. The tomb of St John was under the central dome. The village of Sirince is referred in ancient sources as the Ephesus on the mountain suggests long established settlement. Although there seems to be no concrete indication of how it came onto the stage of history, the dominant theory is that a small group of people resettled on the mountain, following the fall of the city of Ephesus. The people might have preferred to move and settle in the mountains due to problems caused by the silting and the flooding of the river Meander.  The Ephesus Archaeological Museum displays excavations from the ancient city of Ephesus. You can see the best foundations from Ephesus. The collections contain, household items, colossal statues of the Ephesian Artemis, a collection of medical and cosmetic tools along with a wall of portraits of several famous Ephesian physicians, several monumental fountains, sculptures from Roman times, coins and of course a modal of Temple of Artemis.

Very good!

I booked at the last minute with a guide in Portuguese, when I arrived at the port I was informed that they tried to contact me to say that the guide was far away, in another city, they offered to return the value immediately. However I asked if there was any guide in Spanish or English available that I would accept, they sent me the guide Mehemet, it couldn't have been better! Very attentive and dedicated!
