One of the main appeals of Kusadasi is its proximity to the ancient city of Ephesus, the best preserved classical city in the Eastern Mediterranean. Cleopatra, Mark Antony, the Virgin Mary, and John the Apostle all once walked its streets. This full-day guided tour from Kusadasi takes you to explore what is unquestionably one of the greatest sites of antiquity. The largest open-air museum in Turkey, Ephesus contains more than 30 buildings and structures linked together by streets that still bear the mark of ancient chariot wheels. Your guide will show you the awe inspiring Great Theater, where St. Paul preached against the pagans and gladiators once engaged in battle. Walk along Marble Street to the Library of Celsus, the facade of which has been remarkably restored. You will also visit the Temple of Hadrian, Roman baths, and many other remarkable ruins. Turkey, in antiquity known as Asia, was home to seven wondrous churches. It didn’t refer to an actual building, but rather seven Christian cities in Western Anatolia, which now lie in ruins. Visit these ancient places and walk the same steps that the world’s earliest Christians did. Before that, you’ll see all of Istanbul’s major sites, including the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. Then you’ll travel to Izmir and start your tour of ancient Christianity, seeing many Roman ruins along the way. Soak in the thermal baths at Pamukkale, just as tourists have done for centuries – it was founded, after all, as a resort town by the Ancient Romans. Each step along the way, your expert guide will be there to provide you with context and information regarding each of these wonderful cities. Detailed Itinerary: Day 1: Arrival Arrive in Istanbul and ...

The water fights on the mountain roads absolutely lift this excursion to another level. I wasn't overly bothered with it until the fighting began. and then it was Jeep on Jeep on Jeep on Jeep mayhem. it really broke the ice in our jeep, kept us cool in the Turkish heat and was really really good fun. you will get soaked through but that's the point.
It was a very successful trip with a lot of fun, enough variety and nice conversations. The tour guides combined the safari with a water fight. A great idea and this excursion will always stay in your mind
No problems whatsoever. Picked up on schedule. Really polite. Lunch was delicious. Most of all...... GOOD FUN. Better than expected.
Try it out and get an idea for yourself. It is a safari of a different kind. You should definitely NOT be afraid of water
Well-chosen positive team, picturesque places, fresh and delicious dinner in a wild environment, pleasant experience.
