We recently did this tour and had a brilliant afternoon with Bala, our guide. The Batu Caves, visiting the Silverback monkeys and seeing the fireflies made for a great tour and it was also really good to see some of the real Malaysia, outside of KL and more tourist-y areas. What made our afternoon though was our guide, Bala - he was professional, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, but also self aware and very kind, going out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable. He helped us to order dinner in a local restaurant and we learned so much from him about Malaysia, it's culture and it's history. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend both this trip and Bala as a guide.

Such a great tour and would recommend to anyone. First stop was the batu caves, we were given a perfect amount of time to explore and the religious traditions were explained to us. Next up was a monkey sanctuary, got so many photos with the monkeys and was definitely an experience to remember. We then got great seafood at a local restaurant recommended by the host, but was given the opportunity to chose which cuisine we wanted. The highlight was the boat tour, to see the fireflies, we were wary it would not meet our expectations but they were in fact exceeded, was such a surreal experience seeing them light up the trees. Can fully recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed this food tour. TK, our guide was incredibly warm and welcoming with lots of local knowledge to share with us. We were able to try a range of delicious food options across the tour, with some extra recommendations for additional spots to try for the rest of our stay.

We absolutely, 100%, enjoyed our tour with Anuar. The Batu Caves were amazing but feeding the monkeys and the fireflies will be a family favorite for a long time. Anuar was a great guide who made sure we learned about Malaysia along the way. He also happily answered our questions.

Really enjoyed this trip although it did rain the first trip but we booked the following evening for the monkeys and fireflies. Our driver was really nice and made the trip easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!!
