Full description

Escape the heat of Kuala Lumpur city center and head for the cool mountain air of Malaysia’s only casino resort. Following pick-up from your hotel, journey to the cable car station at Genting Highlands and take the skyway cable car over the tropical rainforest. Try your luck at blackjack, roulette or other casino games, or choose to enjoy recreational facilities at the indoor and outdoor theme park. Brave the rollercoasters or the only sky diving simulator in Asia. End the day with a shopping spree at over 80 boutique stores. Then, return to Kuala Lumpur via the Hindu shrines of Batu Caves, where steps up the mountain are guarded by a golden statue of Murugan.

BATU caves was good but let down by the amount of rubbish lying around. Getting heights was also enjoyable, particularly the cable car, but the theme parks were still not really properly open so disappointing. Our driver Avali was enthusiastic and knowledgeable which raised my score from a three to a four.

We really enjoyed the trip. That place called Genting Highlands is amazing. The cable car ride was a breathtaking experience. Add to this, our driver Avali was really helpful and actually along the way was explaining to us every monument or landmark we pass by. A true proud Malaysian that explains with passion.

Great tour and great tour guide for the batu caves and genting highlands! Easy and on-time pick up and drop off from your resort location- a lovely full day tour with free time to explore. Mr Tan is friendly and chatty and guided us around very smoothly and efficiently. 10/10 would recommend and 100% great value for money :)
