We had a Spanish guide named Johana. She was amazing! She was well informed, knowledgeable, kind, and very patient for our large group of 9, including children. I highly recommend this tour. We got to see a lot of the Kremlin and we got to explore the main attractions of Moscow. We at first weren’t sure if we should have contracted a separate guide to tour the Moscow metro but with this tour is was enough! Everyone had earphones and she talked to us through that which was key! This way we could all hear her and she didn’t have to scream through the crowds of people. The only thing I would suggest is for the company to find another meeting point because it was hard for us to find it and we had to call the company and figure out somewhere else to meet. Besides that everything else was great!
I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent on this trip. My guide Daria was phenomenal. She was so helpful and knowledgeable and nice, and spoke excellent English. She bent over backwards to help me out. I was sure I had made a booking that included the Armoury, but it seems when the booking went through, that option was not included. Daria was very sympathetic and helpful and with the help of the tour staff was able to acquire a ticket for me so that I could do the whole tour. I was very satisfied by everything that the tour did - the only slight disappointment being that you cant take photos inside the churches/Armoury/Diamond Fund. But that is not the fault of the tour, which was otherwise faultless.
The meeting point (at the time of this review) is undergoing construction and is covered in tarpaulin- we completely missed it and ended up 15minutes late- things like this should be updated on the meeting point instructions. Apart that the tour was very good and Andre our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The churches you will see are very small inside and swamped with Chinese tourists- be patient is all I can say, and go to the church with the smallest or no queue first. You will exit past the armoury and diamond place, maybe consider adding these on as an additional tour as it will save you having to renter at another date.
Well worth the Armoury tickets, walking around the Kremlin itself seemed a little restrictive (for obvious reasons) and while it makes for nice pictures I find the Kremlin as a whole more impressive from outside the wall. Still. It was worth doing! Especially as my wife is fascinated by Moscow anyway We ended up getting these tickets because we saw the length of the queue to get tickets leading out the door and didn't fancy standing in the November rain and snow to wait to get them (yeah I could have saved half of the money I paid, but it's a once in a lifetime thing going into the Kremlin for me so paying that extra money way worth it)
Amazing experience walking around the Kremlin complex. Introductory tour did not happen but did not prevent us from proceeding as intended. Despite the fact that the online purchase secured our tickets, we did not realise until the morning of the Kremlin visit that we had to meet someone to collect our tickets. Great customer service but not clearly communicated beforehand. Armoury tour was fascinating.
