The tour of Auschwitz was very informative and really put it into perspective when seeing the remains of the buildings and belongings that are there. I really liked that the tour provides you with a headset so you can hear the tour guide a lot clearer and easier as we were in a big group and had we had been at the back this would have not been possible. I didn't have much of an expectation for the Salt Mines but I was WOWed when we dove deeper into the mines. What has been done over the years is absolutely insane and amazing, definitely a must see even for those like myself who thought it wouldn't be anything special. I only wish the tour guide had the same headset idea that Auschwitz had as I found it very hard to hear the guide at times and had to keep asking my partner what they said. My only real negative is the small bus we were on that was almost full, was very cramped and hard to eat your lunch in comfort on. I could see no way to open any windows.

Definitely a must see if you visit Krakow, the tour guide who brought us there, Jakob, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide at the Salt Mines, Simon, was amazing, such a sense of humour and very informative. The only concern I had was that when we booked and paid for our tour we were not told that this does not include the entrance fee, we had to pay a further 270 zolties between 3 of us, we assumed that the cost included both travel and entrance fee, very disappointed in this.

We were picked up at the designated place and whisked away on the 25 minute journey in a lovely clean car. The mines themselves are like nothing I've ever encountered or even imagined! The tour guide was full of insights about the rooms as well as life down in the mines. There is ALOT of stairs (all going down) and you cover alot of distance so comfortable shoes are a must! At the end our driver met us and took us back to where we were picked up.

In few words - Perfect tour. Starting from the driver Simon and ending Salt mine. Auszwitz in general very interesting place, guide told a lot with no rush. Lunch was pretty simple, but very delicious: sandwich, salat, fruits. Salt mine guide was funny person. Only positive vibes about this trip.

After the confusion of the start about children's authors, the exhibition shows lives of the Jewish people before during and after the war, which was interesting to see from a different perspective. This was the last thing we saw before we left krakow, spent an hour here
