We had the tour at 9:15 AM. It was clearly communicated in advance where the meeting point was. At 09:00 we were on location and we were called by the tour operator to find out exactly where we were. Although it was February and early in the morning it was still quite busy. We received a sticker and joined the group that had come from Krakow. Upon entering we were given headphones and a receiver. The guide was a nice young lady a local who spoke English well (with a Polish accent but that was not disturbing). She knew with great empathy to inform us about the horrors about what had happened. After the first part In Auschwitz 1 the group went with their own bus to the second part and we with the shuttle bus. Once there, we waited until the group was complete and we went inside to continue the tour in Auschwitz-Birkenau. All in all a well organized tour and is definitely recommended!
