We spend a great day on the boat, totally worth the money. We had a good lunch and some time for snorkelling. This one could have been a little longer, but I’m not complaining at all. We had a good amount of freetime and didn’t feel rushed by our guides. Overall a great day!

Loved it! The tour guides were so friendly and allowed us time to relax and enjoy at each place rather than feeling rushed. Lunch was satisfactory but nothing beats the beautiful views of Hong Island so in my opinion this was worth the day trip excursion (plus additional bonus: you get to come back to your hotel at a reasonable hour). Only negative I would like to mention is that the driver left us in the morning when he came to pick us up. Our hotel staff called us to tell us that he arrived but by the time we got down he had already left so we ended up having to take a tuk tuk taxi to the pier. Other than that, it was a good experience!

Hong Islands is great and worth the trip - the view point is a real highlight so don't miss it. I'd have liked to go kayaking but I didn't see there was an option to so missed out on it on the trip. The only thing I would say is that halfway through the trip a storm came in and (excuse the pun) but put a real damper on the day - especially for worrying about getting home safely. The sea got extremely rough and I was worried about trying to get back. Weather changes aren't anyones fault but given that I saw it on the weather report the day and raised it with the company you'd think they would also see this as an important factor of whether to take the day ahead or not. Luckily we were in a longtail which moves slow and steadily across the water even when its choppy. The food wasn't as great as I've had on other day trips.
