Full description
The day begins with pickup from your hotel and travels to the Au Luek District. As you escape the chaos of the city, feel immersed in the peaceful tranquility of your new surroundings alongside the vibrant canal. Start the journey by canoeing through a great sea cave with stunning limestone formations. Continue to Hua Ga Lok Cave or commonly known as Ghost Cave with ancient wall paintings estimated to be around 3000 years old suggesting that the cave was inhabited in the past. During your raft experience, pass through the tropical mangrove forest, admire colorful orchids, listen to the beautiful birdsong, and see wild animals in their natural habitat. Relax as you glide along the turquoise waters on your bamboo raft, and watch the fish swimming beneath you. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional Thai lunch to set you up for the rest of the afternoon. Once you’re full up from lunch, travel to worship at the magnificent Wat Maha That Wachiramongkol Temple, formerly known as Bang Tong Temple. The temple is located in the middle of a luscious rubber plantation, and has a tall pagoda that is the pride of the local community. At the temple, learn about its fascinating history, its links to the King, and about the holy relics you can find inside.

This trip was an amazing experience! We were lucky to be the only two on the tour. The places we visited were quiet and beautiful. Well organised tour with a very knowledgeable guide (named Hon) His English was very good and his knowledge of the places we visited was second to none. He was very interesting especially about the local nature. Would highly recommend!!

Very good activities, preferably kayaking paddling with very good food afterwards and well cooked lunch, and very beautiful temple, bring socks to the temple as the stone floors can sometimes be very hot to walk outdoors. The guide would need to speak and understand English better, otherwise a great excursion for a small sum.

Very good excursion. Great corner for kayaking. Super nice bamboo ride. Very good organization and good lunch. Very nice guides. Unfortunately we were unable to see the planned temple (temple apparently closed because of the king's birthday). But we still had the opportunity to see another temple (unfortunately under construction) with a superb view.
