Full description
Perast is surely one of the most beautiful places in Boka Kotorska Bay. Today, it is often referred to as the quietest town in Boka, but it used to be a town of sailors, being well-known outside the territory of Montenegro.  There, you will visit Our Lady of the Rocks, a manmade island off the coast of Perast from mid-15th century, where two brothers from Perast found the painting of Our Lady, and the locals decided to build a chapel dedicated to the Mother of God. Njegusi is a traditional village between Cetinje and Kotor, the part of the territory of old Montenegro, the place where the Petrovic dynasty rulers were born. You will visit a 136-year-old restaurant where you will enjoy local products such as smoked ham, cheese and grape brandy, while learning the process of making the smoked ham.

This was an amazing tour and Alexander was the perfect guide! He knew so much history and gave us so much information. The drive up the mountain with those 25 hairpin turns was so scenic. We enjoyed every stop, and Alexander was very skillful at maneuvering ahead of the large tour groups. Get Your Guide was simple to book and Alexander from the local travel agency was outstanding and so enjoyable to talk to. Highly recommend.
