Upon arriving at the Ranch, your guide (the wrangler) will take you through a brief orientation to get you ready for your riding experience. She will be in charge of matching you with the horse that will bring out the best horseback rider in you. Because our herd here at Bio Konavle is quite small, you will be riding in a small group. This will give you a unique opportunity to make a deeper connection with your horse, and maybe even find a new best friend. You will be riding a cold blooded Icelandic horse, around 140cm tall, and very popular among beginners for being easygoing and friendly. We let them spend most of their days relaxing in the meadows, treating them almost as family members. Therefore, we kindly ask you to show them the same kind of respect. We will start with an easy ride through the Konavle Valley, following narrow paths through fields of wildflowers, pine forests, scattered vineyards and farms. Enjoy the two and a half-hour ride through the breathtaking scenery, trot across the open range and feel the sweet-smelling sea breeze in your face. We will make a stop by the Ljuta River, where you can water your horse, splash around or even swim with them, depending on your previous experiences and skills. So, jump off and tie your horse to take a dip in the refreshing water or lie back and rest in the shade of a tree. There, we will have a snack and a glass of our wine, and if it is too early for wine for you, you can get a soft drink. After the short break by the river, we will get back on our horses and slowly return to the Bio Konavle Ranch, sit down and share our experiences. Don’t forget to give your email to the guide so she can send you the photos.

This is a great day trip, the drive along the adriatic coast road is just beautiful and Kotor and Budvar and amazing places to visit . Our guide was incredibly knowledegable and gave us a lot of history of both Croatia and Montenegro, which is fascinating. If going from Croatia, remember to take some euros ! This trip is definitely a must and well worth the money

The trip was excellent, the guide is knowledgeable and was able to fill us with interesting information along the way. For those that are considering dropping off at Montenegro, it would be good to inform them first since it's quite common and so that you can get the entry stamp at the customs.

The driver and guide both were good. The timing for stop and managing the trip was excellent. Only problem with passport control in the border, kills the time

Great tour and ideal to see another country in one day. Guide was very informative and we enjoyed our trip with you.

It was the loveliest day. Everything was perfect and our guide was wonderful
