The intricate structure of the palace corridors gave it the name Labyrinth, where, according to the myth, the legendary Minotaur used to live. What people are saying about Kissamos

After reading some reviews we arrived early at the ship so we could choose where to sit (payed 27 EUR/ticket). At departure all seats where taken (except for some downstairs). The trip was really nice, with amazing views. You can also watch people driving to Balos all the way upon the mountain. On the ship you can buy food and drinks for normal prices and also rent a parasol for 5 EUR (if available). We first went to Balos. It is crowded, because different ships arrive during the morning. Still plenty of space, especially near the Lagoon where the water is very undeep for hundreds of meters and has a sandy bottom. Don't expect a nice sandy beach around the Lagoon, because it's really rocky. A snackbar was available. Not many parasols available. At Gramvousa the beach is even more rockier. You can climb to the fort for beautiful views (not for me to scary climb). Swimming is really nice in these blue waters; for a real sandy beach you beter visit Falassarna beach. We really enjoyed!

amazing, the boat has to arrive early to catch shade because the sun beats down beautifully, when you get to Gambousa beach, the beach is wonderful, transparent, it's like paradise and in an hour and a half you have time for everything, We didn't go up to the castle to make the most of the beach and go swimming to a sunken ship, after 10 minutes by boat you arrive in Balos and that's amazing, we got a hammock for €15 for two hours but it's worth it, especially if it's the first line and the beach is something out of the ordinary, there is pink sand and after two and a half hours back to the boat, highly recommended

The cruise is very pleasant, in a postcard setting. Plenty of time to enjoy it at stopovers. Despite the large number of passengers and other visitors to the lagoon, we weren't stuck on top of each other at all. Only downside a lot of smokers on board, not easy for those who bother.

The whole experience was great. The steps up to the castle were a bit of a challenge so not for those who don't like a climb. The view from the top is great though.

It was very nice. Our guide was awesome, kind and and helpful. Loved it.
