What people are saying about Kintamani
I really enjoyed this! You will be picked up at your place by a driver (in my case by Dekwan) who will bring you to the places of the different activities booked with this tour. It starts with an ATV tour up to (but not to the top!) Mt. Batur. It's a large landscape of black vulcano sand where you then can cruise around freely with your ATV which is so much fun! After that you go to one of the hot spring places. I will definitely go back there, because personally, I could easily use a day just for that! Dekwan then drove me to a lovely warung for lunch. It was right next to some coffee agricultures and you have a great view from the terrace of the warung. After the meal you will visit one of the agricultures to taste coffee, tea and even some chocolate they produce. At last, you will then brought back to your place by your driver. He was so nice and made sure I was comfortable and had a good time throughout the whole trip. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour!
So much fun!!! The Quad bikes on the black lava sands in the shadow of the mountain are awesome. Rama and Kadek showed us how to use the bikes and then let us just have fun cruising around for a good while. Once we’d had our fill we took a jungle path back past a temple for an epic picture. The hot springs were very relaxing, but you must be firm if you don’t want a massage as there are several women there who will offer. The lunch spot had an amazing view of the jungle, and the traditional food was good. Finally, the trip to the coffee plantation was super informative and interesting. I should also mention our driver Agus was great. He arrived on time at our Villa, skillfully avoided some mud on the way to the bikes after a night of heavy rain (another car wasn’t so lucky and got stuck), and patiently waited for us at every stop. Highly recommend this tour!!!
For our day trip we had a wonderful accompaniment - sushi. We felt well looked after every second, had great conversations and explored Bali - ideally with good food and great views. In addition to the booked activities such as yoga in Ubud or visiting a temple, our day was also designed individually - if we go on another trip, then definitely with sushi again! Her warm, open, interested and understanding manner made us enjoy every moment. Thanks!
We got lucky with perfect weather. Managed to call the company and get everything sorted even as late as 6pm the night before. Smooth operation. Wonderful as expected. The hike is steep but our guide was patient. If you go too slow you might not make it up in time for sunrise. We (3 20 somthings took 1.5 hours and first light happened when we were 2/3 up). Comparable hikes in Australia would be pigeonhouse mountain nsw or Mt bogong Vic.
This was a great Bali introduction tour for a day trip. The best parts were going to the monkey forest, seeing the rice fields, and tasting kopi Luwak. Would recommend this to anyone looking to make the most of their trip to Bali!
