You will be neatly picked up at your accommodation. Then you drive through Merzouga through the sand dunes of the Sahara. Then you stop for tea with a Berber family. Then you drive through the other part of the Sahara, which was also beautiful, and stop at a mine where minerals are mined. Lunch was top notch, especially the berber pizza was delicious. You will also stop at a Senegalese (of origin) enclave nearby, where traditional music is played. Unfortunately there was no water in the lake (early March) so there was not much to see there. Our guide was a local boy, very friendly and knew a lot about the area and the culture.
