Full description

Explore some of Thailand's most iconic and stunning islands on a longtail boat cruise from Khao Lak. Cruise over turquoise waters, past lush mangroves, and see the famous James Bond Island up close. Feel the salty breeze in your hair and relax under the warm tropical sun en route.

After a pickup from your hotel in Khao Lak, board a traditional longtail boat and experience the mangrove forests and karst formations from a different perspective. Get up close to the limestone rocks on a short canoe trip before heading to Khao Phing Kan.

Marvel at rock formations such as Tapu Island and James Bond Island, used as a film location in the movie "The Man With the Golden Gun." Continue to the floating Muslim village of Koh Panyi, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch.

Next, go to Suwan Khuha Cave Temple to see the statue of the reclining Golden Buddha. Get some time to feed the resident monkeys before the return trip to Khao Lak.

The excursion is definitely recommended. Our guide "Sexy Wan" was there again and was very amusing. The kayaking was beautiful and the driver was very welcoming and took lots of photos. There was still enough space on James Bond Island to take photos without people on it. We had almost imagined it to be even more touristy. The excursion to the Muslim village on stilts was also exciting. However, it was a bit difficult for us to eat there afterwards, even if it was probably unjustified. At the end we went to a temple where the monkeys running around were especially funny.

Our guide Wan was really very friendly and funny. He always gave us useful information, no matter what topic it concerned. In addition, they always made sure that we understood everything and that we were okay. Drinks and snacks in between were also taken care of. The canoeing was incredibly impressive, the James Bond Island fortunately not too crowded, the lunch in the fishing village was absolutely delicious and the visit to the monkeys was also quite nice. All in all, a very successful excursion that is absolutely worth the money.

Really enjoyed this trip the guide Oad was excellent, the guys who canoed us around the mangroves and Island was hilarious, James bond Island was stunning, there are stalls selling items, people on here have said they feel that the women were pushy I didn't feel this at all, no more pushy than anywhere else. We then went to the floating village which was really cool and nice to see how they live, the food we had there was lovely. It was just a great trip thoroughly recommend.
