Full description

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak at 7:45 AM before heading north. Enjoy some sightseeing along the way. At 8:30 AM, you'll arrive at Takuapa Morning Market and get a chance to see local life and try some Thai delicacies. Set off in a canoe rowed by the local partner's crew in the Little Amazon at 9:20 AM. Enjoy sightseeing in the swamp forest, surrounded by hundred-year-old banyan trees and mangrove forest. Reptiles and various kind of birds can be seen on the canoe trip also, so keep your eyes peeled. At 11:30 AM, visit the Sai Rung Waterfall and freshen up with a swim before heading back to Khao Lak, returning to your hotel around midday.

Very good and authentic guide. We were a family, alone, on the trip. There was a guide and a driver. The guide told in an appropriate amount both about Thailand's history and culture along the way. Can be recommended (our children are 5-8-9 years, so appropriate time of 4 hours).

Our Guide Toto did an excellent job. He was very nice and told us a lot about Khao Lak and the Tsunami 2004. We had a great time on the river and Toto showed us extra things and memorials.
